The 2021 Honda Accord goes on sale in early December with a host of enhancements both inside, outside and under the hood. Let's take a look at the notable improvements of the new 2021 Honda Accord.
A new SE version
The 2021 Honda Accord offers a new SE version as an entry-level replacement for the LX, but there's nothing entry-level when you take a look at the equipment you get.
The Honda Accord SE features 19-inch rims, a 12-position power adjustable driver's seat, an exclusive grille and spoiler, and much more.
New technologies
New connectivity and safety technologies are offered in the new 2021 Honda Accord, including a low-speed automatic braking system and a rear seat reminder system. The 2021 Honda Accord is also entitled to a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system and wireless charging.
A redesigned exterior
The 2021 Honda Accord receives cosmetic upgrades as well. We immediately notice the new, wider grille. The LED headlights are also upgraded to provide better illumination and there's a new color on the menu, Sonic Gray Pearl.
The 2021 Honda Accord still features a powerful 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that develops 192 horsepower while the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is back with 252 horsepower. The hybrid version with a dual-engine system is also back with 212 horsepower and an average consumption of only 5.0 liters per 100 kilometers.
“The new Accord will continue its legacy as a benchmark for midsize sedans, it is no surprise that it has been named for the 35th time in Car & Driver's Top 10 list, making it the most honored by the history of this magazine, ” said Steve Hui, Assistant Vice-President Honda Canada. "The Accord SE will be exclusive to the Canadian market, which, along with the Accord Hybrid, will bring more refinement, power and better fuel economy to one of the most reliable and best-built cars on the road today."
The 2021 Honda Accord is on sale now for a starting price of $ 32,305.
